TO ALL STEWARDS – 16 May 2024
I’ve had a few emails asking about when they will be contacted regarding allocated Stewards Roles for the competition.
Steward roles will be decided/allocated this weekend in collaboration with the Event Organiser. Once roles have been decided I will be in touch with you all via Email; this is likely to be between Monday and Wednesday of next week.
I will also send some general information out to all Stewards at this time. This information will also be posted on our Website under the “Stewards Portal” section.
If anyone has any questions or concerns in the meantime please do get in touch!
If you are able to come and steward at the event for the Marathon on Saturday 25th May, please do get in touch as we’d love to have you! STEWARDS OUTREACH 2024
CALLING ALL STEWARDS!
Our upcoming event simply cannot succeed without the help and support from our team of dedicated stewards.
I am looking for stewards for all three days of competition – Dressage (Friday) and Cones (Sunday) but most importantly the Marathon (Saturday). The Marathon requires a large team of stewards to man Obstacles, Gates and Road Crossings.
This evening, I have sent out an email to my current list of Stewards with a form to complete outlining all of your details as well as the days you can help and jobs you can/would prefer not to complete. Please check your Inbox (including junk mail) for this email and respond to the form by 1st May 2024. If you have Stewarded before and have not received an email, please let me know and I will get details to you ASAP.
This allows me as much time as possible to allocate jobs and ensure (as much as possible) everyone is where they would like to be and where we need them to be.
If you have never Stewarded before at Hopetoun Driving Trials and are interested in attending as a helper/steward, I promise you that you will be welcomed with open arms and we will put you with a team of experienced Stewards to help teach you the ropes.
We cannot guarantee great weather but we can guarantee a great time with lovely people and we’ll make sure you are well fed on all days you are Stewarding.
